Mission Statement:

Art should always be in a state of Flux, whether in music, sculpture, painting, film, performance and so on. Art should constantly be evolving, flowing. A tribute to great artist such as Frida Kahlo, Man Ray, musicians such as James Brown, Freddy Mercury, Nirvana, Blondie, art movements such as the Dadaist & young idealist such as Jorge Rodriguez Gerada, poets such as Jean Cocteau and filmmakers such as Lars Von Trier, ArtFluxxx is all about breaking new ground and giving art your own signature.

We are collective of artist working in the mediums of Music, Fine Art, Film, Burlesque, Photography, Sculpture, Performance Art, Graffiti, Poetry, Multi Media installations…

We are open to all artist in all disciplines of the arts for membership and
participation in our events.

To become a member just hit us up (EliciaKat@aol.com) and let us check out
your work, we will them bring you on board if we feel you are the right fit for
our collective or at the very least invite you to participate in one of our
events.

Once you are an active member of ArtFluxxx, you will then be able to display
your work in our Gallery in NYC.

The gallery is open to: Fine artist, graffiti artist, sculptors, multi media
and video installations artist, Photographers and so on…

Bands and Musicians receive prime slots as part of our events in
NYC/San Francisco/LA/Austin/Boston/Spain

Burlesque artist and poets will be able to participate in all of our events

Filmmakers are able to screen their films as part of our events or for
limited runs in NYC.

Videographers and multi media installations will be accommodated accordingly.

Members will also be able to submit recommendations for membership and submit suggestions for upcoming events.

Series & events

As a celebration of music and art, the series consist of all styles and
genres of music, placing emphasis on indie/pop/dance rock/goth/punk/funk/garage/live instrumental hip hop/R&B/avant garde/experimental + All forms of artistic expression.

ArtFluxxx roams, but is making its home base at OS Art House at the John
Street Grill in New York City, NY. Voted the #1 Bar & Grill in NYC's financial
district by NY Magazine's "Best of New York". Until we find a better suited space.

Submissions are currently being accepted

The venue provides a full back line, including: A bass combo amp, guitar
combo amp and a partial drum kit including kick drum, floor tom and two rack toms.

Drummers must bring all hardware including snare and stand, cymbals and stands, high hat and stand, kick pedal, throne. There is also a DJ system, lights, engineer, stage, video projector and screen available.

ArtFluxxx is a great addition to the weekly schedule at OS Art House, showcasing live original music, film screenings, indie film theatrical releases, painting, sculpture, photography, performance art, burlesque, stage readings and theatrical productions. Local, regional and national acts are all encouraged to submit.

Sets vary but are generally 30-45 minutes in length.

A local draw is necessary to be booked as part of the ArtFluxxx: Music & Art Series. Both parties are expected to promote and bring in a crowd, as it is all a collective effort. Pay is based on draw for local acts, strong regional and national acts receive a guarantee based on their sound scan figures for the
area.
